Council for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity
The mission of Xavier's Council for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (XCEID) is to engage Xavier students, faculty, and staff in intentional, ongoing, and courageous conversations about race, equity, cultural competency, and community engagement in adherence to the fulfillment of our mission as a Jesuit secondary institution. XCEID is dedicated to developing a stronger and more inclusive school culture that provides outreach and support to students of color and their parents as well as approachable and productive means of encouraging further discussion of diversity, equity, and inclusion with our colleagues.
About XCEID
“XCEID embodies the second greatest commandment, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' If we do not love each other, then we will not be able to work together in harmony. The Catholic faith has followers from a multitude of backgrounds worldwide, but it is what connects us as one, and XCEID plans on strengthening that connection.”
