Annual Fund

The Xavier Annual Fund is the primary vehicle for all alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff, and students, to provide resources for immediate support of Xavier’s mission.

How the Annual Fund Makes A Difference

Each year, Xavier Annual Fund donors create opportunities for students and faculty by funding critical operating needs such as financial aid, faculty support, facilities maintenance and technology, the arts, athletics and student activities. Ultimately, Annual Fund donors are critical to sustaining our ability to make Xavier accessible and affordable.

Participation Matters. Every Gift Counts.

Last year, the Annual Fund raised over $2.76M—the equivalent of earnings from a $69M endowment. Gifts of $250 or less added up to over $220,000, equivalent to 9 full scholarships. The Annual Fund has grown from $1.94M in 2010 and exceeded $2.76M last fiscal year where in addition to the draw from endowment and other support it will account for $7.2M of the anticipated $28M budget.

Tuition does not cover the full cost to educate our students; the Annual Fund provides 11% of the operating budget each year. Those unrestricted, current-use funds give Xavier the flexibility it needs to respond to its most urgent needs. Your gift—at any level—signifies your belief in the transformative power of a Xavier education.
