We are part of the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA). Our football and hockey programs compete in subsidiaries of the CHSAA, the Catholic High School Football League (CHSFL) and the Catholic High School Hockey League (CHSHL).

The leagues are highly competitive. They require tremendous commitment from players, parents, and  coaches. Most programs practice or compete six days a week.

We have 20 programs and 41 different teams.

60% of the student-body is involved in a sport at least one season of the year. Over 40% participate in at least two seasons per year.

Members of our JROTC program are eligible to participate in our JROTC sports: drill team, raiders, and rifle team. Our drill team trains in flair-filled, coordinated military marches. Our raiders team is akin to a military version of a “Spartan” race and competes in various fitness challenges. Our rifle team trains in our on-campus air-rifle range in coordination with the Colonel of the Regiment. All three teams travel and compete on a regional and national level.

We offer eight freshman-specific teams––football, cross country, swimming & diving, basketball, indoor track, baseball, rugby, and outdoor track.

Yes, we provide buses for practices and games to and from Xavier––particularly for teams whose practice facilities and game locations (both home & away) are not easily accessible via public transportation.
