Students—regardless of previous experience—have the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of vocal performance, composition, jazz, classical, and performance.
Xavier’s award-winning Blue Knight Band gives students the opportunity to take their passions beyond the classroom. The Band has performed in multiple states, on national television, and at national jazz festivals.
Xavier let me both learn and lead when it came to music. I developed my musicianship as an underclassman and then applied that to the gigs and small bands I was leading as a senior. I’m very grateful to Xavier for that.
