Alumni Reunite at Summer Receptions

Xavier’s summer tour wound down this August at receptions in Quogue, Westport, Massachusetts, and Cape Cod, culminating at Summer Sunset at Xavier in the Tirelli Quadrangle last week.

Attendees at summer tour events—which included earlier stops at the Jersey Shore, Rockaway, and a college barbecue on 16th Street—spanned generations. Guests enjoyed great company, beautiful locations, and the summer tour’s popular parting gift, Xavier beach towels. We are grateful to Brooke Barrett and Jack Galbraith ’61, who hosted the Quogue reception; Colleen and Rob Thorburn ’93, who hosted in Belmar, New Jersey; and George and Joanie Clark P’16, who welcomed guests at their home in Rockaway.

“Our summer tour provided opportunities for great fellowship with alumni, parents, and friends,” said Director of Alumni Relations Zane Massey ’96, who planned the events. “Now we look forward to our fall travel and visiting more Sons of Xavier across the country.”
