Knights Look to Compete at the Next Level

By Nick Byrne '11

For most high school seniors, the final whistle represents the end of their competitive athletic careers. Many will continue to play recreationally, but rec sports can wait for several members of the Class of 2016. The countless hours they invested in their sport and in the classroom the past four years has enabled them to play at the next level.

From 16th Street to Bayonne, New Jersey, it has been a remarkable year in sports.

Join the Xavier community in celebrating the young men listed below who will represent the Xavier Knights in collegiate athletics.

Here’s the list:

Marc Bisogno, Baseball (Fordham University)

Frank Masella, Baseball (Davis & Elkins College)

Liam Hibbits, Baseball (Virginia Commonwealth University, Verbal Commitment for 2017-18)
