Alumni Return for Career Day

Seventeen alumni returned to 16th Street on March 7 to speak with juniors about their respective careers. Xavier’s annual Career Day invites distinguished alumni to share their perspectives on life and work as juniors consider the next step in their academic lives.

Students attended three 40-minute sessions with speakers they selected. Later, during his keynote address, Tom Lee ’92—senior partner at 451 Marketing in Boston—emphasized the value of internships and networking during his keynote address. And like a true Xavier man, he encouraged juniors to be men for others.

“Career Day was an incredible experience for our juniors,” said Zane Massey ’96, Director of Alumni Relations. “The opportunity for them to meet a diversity of distinguished alumni broadened their horizons as they begin considering college and work.”
