Eamonn Matthews '15 Named Rugby All-American

Eamonn Matthews ’15, who heads to St. Bonaventure University to play Division I rugby this fall, was recently named to the USA Rugby All-America team.

The Jersey City native won the Block X Award for Most Valuable Player in rugby during his senior season on 16th Street. “I’m very thankful to have found this sport and the opportunities the sport has given me,” Matthews said. He earned an academic/athletic scholarship to St. Bonaventure.
