Fr. Henry Zenorini, S.J., Called Home to the Lord
Xavier High School and the Society of Jesus mourn the recent passing of Fr. Henry Zenorini, S.J., who was called home to the Lord on Friday, May 15, at the age of 94. Fr. Zenorini entered the Society of Jesus on September 17, 1951, was a Xavier faculty member from 1971 to 1982, and was a longtime member of the Xavier Jesuit Community. Fr. Zenorini was featured in the Xavier Magazine three years ago, where he was described as a "Guiding Force of Love and Kindness." Fr. Peter Schineller, S.J., an archivist for the Society of Jesus, wrote an obituary of Fr. Zenorini, which can be read here.
A wake will be held for Fr. Zenorini on Tuesday, May 19, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM and 7:00 - 8:30 PM, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, in Murray-Weigel Hall on the Fordham University Rose Hill campus. Fr. Zenorini will receive a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 20, at 10:30 AM in the Fordham University Church. For more information, please consult his death notice.
