Xavier to Celebrate Diversity
The Xavier Student Leadership Council and cultural affinity clubs are proud to invite all members of the Xavier community to Diversity Night 2015 on Friday, February 27, from 4:30 - 6 p.m. in the Commons gym.
Last year, in an effort to celebrate the great work of our cultural affinity clubs and the unique talents and perspectives of the Xavier student body, Diversity Night was created. It was a great event featuring student-driven poetry, stories, songs, art, and food reflecting cultures from around the world.
The event would not have been such a success without the generosity of Xavier parents, who brought with them lots of delicious food and supportive energy. If your son is a member of a cultural club, he may have already asked you to help him supply food for the event, in which case we thank you in advance for your contribution!
We are also excited to announce that continuing on Monday, March 2, Xavier will celebrate Unity Week, a week of educational and fun school events promoting appreciation of cultural, social, physical, and ideological differences through prayer, knowledge, food, sport, and more.
If you would like to learn more about any of these upcoming events, please feel free to contact Ms. Johanna Tanzman, Director of Student Activities.
