Greetings from 16th Street!
On behalf of the wider community here at Xavier High School, we welcome you once again to our Admissions E-News. First, we would like to thank all of you that attended the Manhattan High School Fair on September 28th. We were happy to have had the opportunity to meet prospective students and we are excited to see all of you at our other Admissions’ events.
Additionally, Xavier would like to provide you and your family with an “Admissions Check-In,” which lists some of our upcoming programs, events, information nights, and application deadlines:
- Xavier High School’s application is now an online application, which is currently up and running. The application is due on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014. You can access our application here.
- Xavier’s fall Open House will take place on Saturday, October 18th, from 1:00-4:00 pm. The Open House is designed to give prospective students a chance to visit our campus and to meet students, teachers, counselors, and coaches. Our Open House truly is a great way to learn all about our school community. We encourage any and all students who are interested in Xavier to attend this event.
- Xavier will be holding a Scholarship Exam on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 from 9:00-12:00 PM. The deadline to register for the exam is Tuesday, November 18th, 2014. Due to limited space for test-takers, it is important to register for the exam as soon as possible.
- Also, registration for our Knight-for-a-Day has already begun! The program is open for current 8th graders and will run from October 21st- December 5th. If you are interested in spending a day at Xavier, you can register here.
Please contact the Admissions Office at 212-924-7900 ext. 1442 or at admissions@xavierhs.org if you have any questions about these events. We look forward to working with you throughout the fall and winter as you navigate your way through the high school admission process…and remember, be sure to check out Xavier’s website for exciting updates as the year moves forward!
Kindest regards,
