Xavier Annual Fund: Onward to Glory
A visit to Xavier at the end of June would find Sons of Xavier, parent volunteers, and members of the advancement team calling, emailing and visiting with other alumni, parents and friends to bring the annual fund to a successful close. Support this year has been outstanding yet there are important goals we still want to meet. The Class of 1980 has a participation challenge from an anonymous benefactor and still needs a few more people in the mix. We are looking to grow our young alumni giving and have provided regular updates and targets to the more recent graduates. And we are working hard to get to 60% parent participation and 25% overall alumni participation this year.
Through the great generosity of so many who have already made their gifts, Xavier needs less than $100,000 to reach the 2014 Annual Fund goal of $2,150,00 and fewer than 400 alums to contribute in order to achieve 25% alumni participation. If 75 current parents
make a gift we will reach 60% parent participation, a new Xavier parent participation record. To give online, go to
www.xavierhs.org/af2014. We are working to have as many as possible be part of Xavier giving this year. First and foremost, if you have not yet given, we are looking to have you with us. The giving is as important as the size of the gift.
If you have not already done so, please
support the Xavier Annual Fund with a gift by midnight on Monday, June 30 and help Xavier stay strong! The Annual Fund allows Xavier to provide both a rigorous college preparatory education and a myriad of programmatic offerings that form our young men into competent, caring men of faith.
The Fund touches every aspect of life at Xavier from athletics, the JROTC, campus ministry, faculty development and this year, over $2.4M in need-based financial aid.
Your support helps to keep Xavier marching forward.
