The 30th Annual Golf Outing, presented by Paul J. Scariano, Inc., will take place at the North Hempstead Country Club on Thursday, July 19. The event has been a cornerstone of the Xavier alumni community for many years now, and the coming outing will provide just as much cheer, competition and joy as the event has come to be known for.

Every year Xavier awards the Rev. William J. McGowan Spirit Award to one or more people who have made an impact on the Xavier legacy through their involvement with athletics. This year's award will be awarded to Edward Gooding '78 and Kevin Crockett '14, and with the late COL Willima A. Rasmussen '51†, have scored 1,000 points in their Xavier basketball careers.
