And the Xavier Oscar Goes to...
Congratulations to Phil Casano '14, Joe Galvano '14, Ed Lopata '14, Mark Tam '14, and Demetrios Sofides '14 for their work on the film "Lester". Their work earned them the coveted Xavier Oscar at last week's Film Festival. Close to 200 students, parents, alumni, and faculty attended this years' festival.
Special awards were given for Best Cinematography to Nicolas Inglese '14 for his work on "Snoop", a film created by senior Matt Benson '14. "Snoop" came in second place in the festival voting. Best Overall Filmmaker awards went to the production team of Last Chance Productions: Phil Casano, Joe Galvano, Ed Lopata, Mark Tam, and Demetrios Sofides. Together they produced nine short films on the year - a Xavier record.
