Guidance Mission

Student support services are in place to help each student develop his academic, emotional, spiritual, and interpersonal skills.  Guidance counselors work with their students through a combination of group meetings, individual appointments and various after school programs and activities.

Current To Do And Reminders

Juniors and Parents Meeting:  "Introduction to the College Process".
This is an information night, held in the Gym, for juniors and parents offered on two dates,
Sunday, February 7th, 2010 at 12:00 noon and Thursday, February 11th, 2010 at 6:30 p.m.

Junior Guidance Groups, led by the College Counselors, will begin February 23rd, and meet 5 times on the usual alternating pattern of group guidance.  Students are directed to look at the group rosters and schedules since many juniors have new times and locations.

Other Recent Events

Parents joined us on Wednesday, October 29h at 6:15pm, for our "RISKY BEHAVIOR" meeting addressing adolescent issues. Follow the link to view the PPT for the evening's presentation.

Career Day for Juniors was held on November 7th.  Juniors attended 3 workshops from among 13 available, led by illustrious alumni, successful and active in the fields they presented.  A Career Survey  was given during the Junior's group guidance cycle where they selected among the listed workshops.
