Web Programming and Design Students Complete Alphabet Game Site
This year as a major second semester project, the students in Mr. Chiafulio's Web Design class created The Alphabet Project, an online children's interaction designed with Adobe Flash.  Each student in the class was assigned a different letter of the alphabet, and the finished projects can be viewed on the newly redesigned Nazareth Nursery School website.
Xavier has a history of sending senior volunteers to Nazareth Nursery School, and several Xavier faculty have children at Nazareth, so this program deepens the relationship between the two schools

Department Philosophy

The philosophy of the Xavier Science and Technology Department, in accord with Ignatian ideologies, is to develop young men who truly appreciate and understand the sciences and the subsequent scientific processes associated with them. Through their experiences in the classroom and the laboratory, our aim is to prepare our students to be successful in their future academic and career endeavors. We also strive to make real the connections between the sciences and God’s natural order.

Science, with double period laboratory, is required for three years.
Electives are available and a four year sequence is possible.
